Nature of Variation:
The premises is a tearooms set over 2 floors seating a maximum of 40 people 16 downstairs and the rest upstairs across 14 tables we are situated a couple of doors away from Nandos who serve alcohol until late and opposite Ye Old Talbot pub that serves alcohol until 11.00pm. We currently serve afternoon teas, sandwiches, toasties, cakes and tea and coffees and have hosted a number of daytime events utilising our current licence (most of these have been baby showers). We have a small kitchen at the back of the downstairs area with a rear exit/emergency exit into an alleyway, a front door onto the street, an upstairs with one toilet/washing facilities. The proposed events would be very low-key, such as charcuterie and wine evening, and an immersive dining experience, largely aimed at the 50+ market.
