New Applications & Variations to Premises Alcohol Licences
All new applications and variations to existing Premises and Club Licences are subject to a 28 day consultation period. During this time, the following statutory bodies are consulted;
- Police
- Fire Safety Department
- Development Control (Planning Services)
- Safeguarding Safety (Child Protection)
- Community Protection (Noise Nuisance)
- Business Compliance (Heath and Safety)
- Director of Public Health (Worcestershire County Council)
Representations either in favour or objecting to a licence application must clearly relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives. These are;
- the prevention of crime & disorder
- public safety
- the protection of children from harm
- prevention of public nuisance

This application seeks to amend an existing condition contained within Annex 2 (d) of the premises licence. The current condition states: The premises licence shall allow activities for a maximum of one event per year, which may be held over two consecutive days in the month of June.The applicant proposes that this condition be amended to read: The premises licence shall allow activities for a maximum of one event per calendar year, which may be held over two consecutive days.This amendment does not increase the number of events permitted, the duration of the event, or the licensable activities authorised by the premises licence.The event will continue to operate as an annual outdoor food and drink festival. No other changes are proposed to the premises licence. In particular, there are no changes to: the licensable activities the permitted hours the nature or scale of the event the site layout or capacity the existing conditions or operating controls attached to the premises licence All existing conditions will remain in full force and effect.This application does not seek to increase the number of events permitted per year, but solely to remove the restriction limiting the timing of the event to the month of June.
