Healthier Choices Food Award
Catering businesses who have achieved level 4 or 5 of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme and want to stand out from the competition can apply for a new award scheme created by Worcestershire Regulatory Services. If you would like to speak to one of the team please complete our Enquiry Form
The award recognises business owners who offer alternatives such as a choice of portion sizes and healthier menu options to cater for customers who are looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.
There are two membership levels, with Gold membership available to those who use some locally sourced food and have achieved level 5 of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.
Understanding customer needs can have a positive impact on business profits by increasing the customer base, creating a better reputation and differentiating that business from others.
We are not asking businesses to completely change their menus but just offer a few healthier options with advice from us to help you do so.
Membership for 2 years is now only £100, less than £5 a month and this includes a number of benefits. Please see the documents below for more information or contact us on 01905 822799 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
|Thank you to Keith Pratt, Jane Stevens, Laura Southwood, Sarah Harris & Amy Worboys for promoting the Award at the Worcester Foodie Festival.|
‘’Since our publicity about the award in the Evesham Journal, we have had loads of interest from customers including new customers wanting our slimmer’s breakfasts. A lot of our regular customers keep talking about it as well. We have even had people bringing in congratulations cards! We are really pleased about how well its been received and we have added a few extra things on our menu like skimmed milk to do skinny drinks’’ Donna Millimono and Dawn Welland- Bridge Street Kitchen, Evesham.
