Food Safety Training

The law requires that Food Business Operators (FBO), managers and staff have training appropriate to the activities they carry out, eg. the owner of a business will need to know how to manage a food safety management system, a retail sales employee will need to be able to make basic safety checks, eg. use by dates, cleaning, pests.

There are numerous courses available online but quality may vary. Look for courses accredited by Chartered Institue of Environmental Health (CIEH), Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) or similar organisations.

WRS offers tailored training packages for your business on food issues including food hygiene, allergens and nutrition. Cost will vary depending on your requirements. Our standard day rate is £450 + VAT + expenses for two officers to deliver a training day for up to 20 people. Any additional costs will be separately quoted, based on an hourly rate of £70.
